This topic has been talked about before.

There are no speakers in the rear doors of the Euro it is an option when you purchase your car.

Well there ya go, I learnt something. I swear I've heard noise coming from the rear doors. Must have been my imagination.

It's not an option. Honda Australia decided to provide only 6 speakers. The TSX has 8 with the additional 2 speakers in the rear doors. However, from what I have read about it, the 2 speakers in the rear doesn't improve the audio quality. It only makes the surround effect better for the rear passengers.

When I purchased the car I was told it was an option by the service department.

My dealer didn't offer the speakers and it was not in the accessories catalogue at the time.

Also, if I want to use new speaker cables is it difficult to thread through from inside the car to the front door?

Good question, i also need this answer for the front doors.

This was one of the main reasons why i got that euro munual cd but not that clear regarding this.

Any advice would be appreciated

Don't see what's so important about speakers in the rear doors unless you sit in the back often. Doesn't improve sound quality and it's pretty much like those people who listen to music on their 5.1 setup. CD music only supports 2 channels (left and right) so why bother with more speakers? Also, 2 extra speakers means extra weight, so why bother again.

I'm not being constructive haha. In all honesty, I don't think there's any cables. If they chose to have no speakers then they would have left the cable out too. Putting in the cables means extra money (not a lot now, but imagine 50c worth of cable in a million Euros...that's a lot). Remember, the TSX is based off the Euro, but it's a really different car on the inside.
