Looking for some inspiration to do a boot install in my teg. It will only be holding a 12" sub and an amp but the boot space in a teg is pretty tight. Anyone care to share pictures of their installs, or any pics they have found on the internet?

I'm looking more for basic installs, rather than show winning installs. Something that I could attempt myself in my own car.

Similar boot space to the 3rd gen. I'll be posting better pics when I have time to redo a few things.

got some decent bootspace going on there...

one of the worst design flaws of the da3 is the boot. there's a big raised circle in the centre where the spare goes. as a result, nothing fits in nicely

Damn stanleym that's a lot of messy wiring. Did you just screw the amps into the back of the seat or did you use some mdf in between?

Redteg interested in seeing more pics of your boot. Looks like pieces either come out or fold out.

haha messy witring was ue to lazyness but all has been fixed so not to worry

just went straight into the seat idn't worry about mdf was the least of my troubles lol....

but u cant see any of it so i am happy with the subs the way they are in the boot

stu(qikteg) i think all integras came with the annoying boot prob my old da9 had the same but i made a custom mdf cover works a treat

hursty boy, just curious, do you find any difference between the subs by using two different 2 channel amps?

Hurstyboy that looks very clean. I can see what you've done with the box to help route the wires thats a pretty good idea. Looks like it could be done fairly quickly as well compared to other boot installs.

the hole thing is the box and only took about a day all up.....was a bit fidly to get everything so it actually was where i wanted it but now at least im not worried about stuff hitting my subs when i throw it in the boot.....and qikteg that a mono and a 4chan

You got the subs running off the mono and the 4ch to run speakers/splits?
