Gear / Transmission Wierdness

hi Ppl, i got a eg sedan - the problem is that my gear stick moves around everwhere,
eg - if i put it in 2nd, and while holding the clutch down i can move it everywhere in any direction not just where the gears r, if dat makes sense. any1 help please.

You have what we call a "saggy box"...

the bush within the shifter is worn/cracked/broken whatever.
Check underneath if the balancer or shift linkage is loose ~ or replace the bush it with a new OEM ro aftermarket item and im sure it will firm up.
My stock civic shifter moves aroudn all over the place ~ feels like a truck shifter
