hi, just got my car..and its a fart machine...everyone complaints about it.......but cops loves it...farout..because of it...my car was pulled over. copped da fine..coz i dont a manual license.

anyways..i was just wondering how can reduce the noise my car made....my uncle mentioned something about muffler...but i dont know what he meant.

and yes..i could change the whole exhuast...but im so broke right now..just got the car...and have to pay da fines..and the car even need service..

umm..so yeh..again...im willing to buy any second hand parts..aslong as my car stop farting.

any help would be much appreciated.

OH and Search doesn't want to be my friend :(

A stock system does domething like 4dB under the legal limit. So its really your only choice.

U could try a xforce twin loop muffler (like $200 of some of the traders)
But im not sure what levels they put out

Cheapest way to reduce noise being made from ur car, as mentioned above, is to purchase a silencer for ur muffler.

$80 at autojoy.

BUT!! What they didnt tell u is. Cops dont like silencers cos u can take it out (just 1 scew) so they may defect u ANYWAYS.

silencers are defectable unless welded. it is a flying hazard should the one screw come off

go find a standard civic muffler from the wreckers and then take it to an exhuast shop along with your car and get them to fit it. you will be legal in no time.

i reckon go the twin loop. it looks nicer than the stock exhaust.... unless you put a nice tip on it.

twin loop gonna work with his rear bar? go get a silencer and get it wielded on, its cheap to get it wielded ur mechanic wouldn't charge you much. my mechanic wields my stuff for free.

twinloop will look better on his car, u won't see as much of the ugly huge ass barrel

i got two mufflers, flanged with bout 30cm of pipe on each... 1 stock, 1 LOUD, this way i can run the stock 1 most of the time, and loud boy 4 specl occasions.:)

Cost bout 100 bucks allup, exhaust work isn't really that expensive!!

He also wants to get rid of the fart noise. Change the b-pipe to a larger one and it should sound 10x better. Just chucking a muffler on will always give u a fart bomb especially in hondas
