here is the list the guy is selling
do i need anything else

D16y1 Vtec Engine USDM (Import Version from United States Domestic Market) The D16y1 is the most powerfull of all D Series motors (More than the D16 DOHC as well as Australian & JDM D16/D15 VTI Motors) and the block can be combined with all other D16/D15 Parts. RARE MOTOR!! Removed from 99 Civic VTI, 90000k's and regulary serviced before removal.

This is a complete block and includes all the following

Block
Fly Wheel
Clutch
All Engine Internals still assembled - Pistons, Rods, Crank etc etc
Head Studs
Alternator
Timeing Belt
Alternator Belt
Thermo Stat
Cam Gear covers
Engine Mounts
Spark Plugs and Cold Platium Leeds
Head Gasket
Oil Sump and Oil Filter

its not goin to be easy/straight forward. the wiring ecu will be the problem.

d16y1 = sohc vtec OBD1

and

d16y4 = sohc non vtec OBD2

and its illegal anyways, the y1 is older than the ek chassis. your not allowed to put an old engine in a newer car.

for a cheap swap buy a d16y8 out of a ek vti.

a d16y1 came out of an old model civic... you can't put a motor from an older model into a newer one... so if you wanted to swap.. you'd have to put in another d16y4 if you wanted to keep it SOHC...

or any other engine that was brought out in 1996 or later...

Removed from 99 Civic VTI, 90000k's and regulary serviced before removal.

if it was brought out then... it wouldn't be a d16y1... it would be a d16y8... so that would be a great swap!! more power but could be issues with wiring up the v-tec... not exactly a ecu plau and play swap unfortunately
