Hey All,

Its gonna be one of those winters in Melbourne, sunny one day and raining the next min....etc etc... I bought those Trico wiper blades, they were perfect at the start but a couple of months down the track they are completely usless... Can anyone recommend really good ones, i dont mind paying a bit of money as i really want good ones....

Are the Bosch ones any good???

Regards Adam

OEM, is about $10 each, but you need the metal pieces that come from factory.

but bosch is good as well.

OEM are the best, they cost a bit more but well worth it

After using a few different brands, the ones that I continue to use (both because the last longer and run smoother) are OEM.

The best I've used are PIAA super silicone. They are a direct replacement for the wiper blade refill that Honda uses. If you like Trico's initial performance, then get Trico's silicone blades. But I don't like their universal retaining mechanism. PIAA if you can buy from overseas and it comes with the metal strips as well. ($34 for the pair)

for my old car (hyundai getz) the oem's crapped out on me and i replaced them with teflon ones from kmart... they ran perfectly smoothly for 5 months after which i sold the car so i don't know how they're doing now...

Stock Honda blades have rubber "edges" that hold it in. If you have metal ends, then it's aftermarket. If you look at it, there is a hook on each side. Just squeeze them together by hand and slide the blade out.

Pics would help though.

i tried these white silicon wipers from supercheap. In heavy rain they're are flawless. in light rain they bounce off my windscreen and screech. (*!@#!!!!

^^ I see the problem there. :) How much were they? They are probably the trico ones. They have a taller profile than stock wiperblades, so there is uneven pressure across the blade, hence the screeching.
