how well do replica ctr lips fit?

just wondering how will the lips fit? as i know replica kits can be a bit dodgy.

It really depends on the individual lip, who makes them, the materials it is made from etc.

Well, if that one is $187, I'd rather spend just a little bit more and get the genuine one. That way you will know it will fit and look perfect and there is no doubt involved. I got my genuine Type R front lip from JDMConcept for $245 delivered. But that's just my opinion on what I would do if I were in your shoes. :)

Apparently the genuine rear lips for our model are still available from Honda Spares. I've heard anywhere from $100 to $400-$500 for one of these. I haven't rung them yet to check the price though but it seems different people have gotten different prices from different Honda dealers...

my mistake 245$ for the front lip.. 350$ for the rear unless there is some form of group buy they can be cheaper

I just bought a replica mugen lip for my 00 civic. It was not a good fit at all, was too short and was impossible for me to put on myself, so i took it to the panelbeater and he somehow streched and squeezed it on but ended up putting a crack in front bar. A month later its ended up cracking pretty well in half and is no good any more, due to stress i believe. Be careful what you buy... I am not happy at all. 300 bux down the drain

cant u jus get it resprayed or sanded smooth agen if its that bad???
myn was in faily crap cond.(even a mini crack on one side) wen i pikd it up, after a sanding down and welded up and new paint.. good as new

wen i got the lip i knew nothing about lips, replica's , jus knew that it'll fit
heck i didnt even get the screws...
its pretty str8 forward to install a lip.. 4 screws and some fat clips ( i got one) in the middle and its done!
