wat type of rear suspension is on the honda jazz? i know what it is but cant remember the name

The rear is torsion beam.
Front is Macpherson just in case. :)

GD1 - Fit/Jazz hatchback, FF, L13A engine
GD2 - Fit/Jazz hatchback, 4WD, L13A engine
GD3 - Fit/Jazz hatchback, FF, L15A VTEC engine
GD4 - Fit/Jazz hatchback, 4WD, L15A VTEC engine

GD6 - Fit Aria/City sedan, FF, L13A engine
GD7 - Fit Aria/City sedan, 4WD, L13A engine
GD8 - Fit Aria/City sedan, FF, L15A VTEC engine
GD9 - Fit Aria/City sedan, 4WD, L15A VTEC engine
(all 2002-03 models)

So your 2006 model is GD3 no different to my 2004 model if it is 1.5L VTEC and FF. Won't change until whole new model comes out. Face lifts aren't new models. You'll find the GD3 designation on the plague in your engine bay.
