Its similar to a screamer pipe.. wont be too good for power wise cause there's no back pressure ? unless its turbo..

Why would you bother?

Click on the WRX Video link - is it just me and my shitty work comp, or is the top nut undoing itself when they rev the car?? That's more than a bit concerning....

If it is - good concept for turbo cars I guess....but sh!tty build quality!!

prob just not screwed on properly... Id get it, and bolster it up too with some rubber shock mounts etc...

Mistakes like that always happen, one of sydney's most reputable honda/nissan workshops once gave my mate his car without the dump pipe bolts. Could have caused some serious damage.

Things like that could have occured because there was no locktite etc on the bolt. In such a rough environment such as under a car on an exhaust flange, that should have been pre-requisit. The guys shooting the video were prob so excited to shoot they forgot the locktite. Things like this happen. Ie dont base quality on a video.

Same way you dont base quality on prototype at a carshow. I remember the monaro before it was released at motor show had shocking build quality. The rear seats were tearing at seams etc.

Fair enough mate - I'm just giving my opinion, don't tell me what to think.

I'd rather not argue or debate, so consider what I wrote above is just my .02.

the bolts are there so that you can bolt on another exhaust

wouldn't it be possible to have the qtec switch open when you hit a certain rpm? so cars with no-tec can at the very least have q-tec?
