Any opinions? are they any good, and can anyone comment on the fact that taking an inch off the tip makes a difference? this sounds stupid to me

Apparently they are not a noisy exhaust unless our really giving it... correct?

lol, the 1 inch he cut off the tip loses 50% of power and torque.

There is no way cutting 1 inch of a tip make any difference to performance.

You never know Fujitsubo must have designed the exhuast like that for a good reason, other than looks hopefully ...

Im not too sure on what effects there will be if you cut the exhaust

This website has a movie clip and sound of what the powergetter sounds like when you give it some.

hehehe, thats what i would think too mate

any opinions on this exhaust, i know some people say its ugly but i dont mind it. How do i idnetify that its the real thing? and is it a straight botup to standard AUSDM cat? is there a flange there to bolt it too?

JDM Flange is alot bigger than AUDM

Zilli

so does that mean it nees to go to an exhaust shop to go on? its not a direct bolt on?

Other than the flange, is there a need to do anyhting else? int erms of the length or anyhting like that

macoman69

apart from the flange im pretty sure that length shouldnt be a problem.
Unless the JDM type r is longer or shorter (which i highly doubt lol)

But yeah you will probably have to take it to an exhaust shop unless you have jdm cat + extractors (if its going to the stock ones than you will need to take it to an exhaust shop.

I had this same problem but with my extractors. Ended up putting on a flex joint with a bigger flange to the stock cat

hmmm... yeh for the moment its going to the stock ones... how much you reckon itd cost to get a new flang put on either the B pipe or the end of the cat?

Im not sure you would have to speak to the exhaust shop

JDM cat is not only larger but shorter too compared with the aussie one. So you'll have to shorten the b-pipe as well if you wanna keep your stock cat.

doesnt fujitsubo come with jdm cat???

barefootbonzai
27-07-2006, 11:22 AM
don't see any reason y it would. JDM cats are hard to get a hold on.

Zilli

new cats are ridiculously expensive arent they?

barefootbonzai

you don't have to get a oem jdm cat. Some exhaust shops should be able to fab one up for you.

I have Fujitsubo PG on my EM1 and I love it!! It sounds very nice and roars very deep! I heard it when it was just a catback and it sounds more quiet but since I've got 4-1 headers its roars louder! Not loud as Buddyclub and Trust like I've heard before.

The powergetter i bought form barefoot bonzai only needed a flange change. How come they didnt need to mod my cat? by the way the flange should cost 50 bucks
