If you don't know the last time it was serviced, and you did not change the timing belt at 100,000km, I would get it changed. The squeaking could be from the accessory belt, while the ticking from a range of items. But my main concern was whether the timing belt was changed at 100,000km. Do you get the service booklet with the car?

Ok, if there are no log books, get the timing belt changed. Also get a valve clearance check (it might solve the ticking). Usually with 2nd hand cars that have no service history, it's best to change the following items:

Replace timing belt
Replace engine oil
Replace oil filter
Replace gearbox fluid
Replace brake fluid
Replace clutch fluid
Clean throttle body
Check valve clearance (and adjust if required)
Check accessory belt
Check master cylinders
Check battery voltage
Check engine coolant
Check thermostat
Check brake pads
Check tyres
