Hi. i am looking at buying a 1994 integra vtir.
In standard form,
how much power do they pump out in kilowatts/torque?
How quick are they 0-100km and 0-400 metres?
What type of mods and increases ca n you get from the engine?

mmm thats about it. THANKS :D

Have a read on a few of the post or search VTIR.

And I am sure a few will say.. "dont waste your time buy a ITR"

Pretty much you can do what ever your budget allows.. options are pretty much unlimited..

or check out www.toda.com.au that should kill your budget.. hahahh

frustrating, isn't it? :D

to which the obvious response must be, "don't waste your time, buy a gt-r." heaven forbid i should actually know what i want, and what serves my needs best, within my budget.
i thought i was the only person to notice that mantra...

expect around a mid 15's at the strip...

yeh im sick of the ol' buy a type r bs as well...
its not liek compaing say glis to vtirs [in civics], vtir can be made as enjoyable to drive as an ITR, and may even be quicker.. [in a straight line]

then ppl will go, but the ITR owns on track rarara..... but how many owners actually see the track :| and how many drive it to its potential, bleh!

Seriously - I would say close to 8 out of 10 ITR's have been on the track  or may be 2 out of those 8 who own ITR's have been passengers in other ITR's on the track ahhaha

stock for stock - get an ITR :D
modifying purposes? Alot of things will cost you, that are standard on the ITR - recaro's, LSD, Close ratio gearbox, aggressive cams, high compression -----> just this list alone is 5 figures...

It's not outright power, it's just how the power is used.

xhibita has posted asking for advice and information on the 94 VTiRs... and yet it always turns into a "get this instead" or "stock for stock DC2R is better", when we all already know that.
Good luck in your DC2 hunt mate.

stock for stock - where am do i fork out the extra 10k?

come on be reasonable, not everyone has the money to get a type R so they make do with what is affordable and settle with something lower in the ranks.

mods for the engine, theres the usual bolt ons for N/A car dude.
boogets vtir with i/h/e made about same power at wheels as some stock ITRS at a recent dyno day :)

lol, thats SO true.

everyone just SHUTUP about anything else.. and answer the dam question.

i think, someone like gingangooly is the person to be answering this question.

so answer it dude!

shutup about get this, or get that. he wants a VTIR... answer his questions. and then after he gets all the info he wants, then maybe, just maybe let him know about other options.

and xhibit... dont think u get off that easily! use the SEARCH function mate! its there for some good help. though it may be frustrating reading through so much crap, cos no one answers questions, it does help!
