Avatar uploading not working

Is there a problem with uploading a custom avatar?

I tried uploading a 125x78 and a 100x80 avatar (standard jpg under 20kb) and the image doesnt upload properly. It doesnt give an error or anything, it just says "custom avatar" instead of the pic.

Tried IE and Firefox - same problem.

lol the avatar is now working.

Are avatars now pre-checked by a mod before they are activated or something?

I doubt it, otherwise you'll have to submit the avatar in for inspection then the mods upload it for ya, too much of a hassle, problem just a one off problem

And now we don't check avatars before they get uploaded. What was the error you were getting?

There was no errors when the image uploaded, or even when I used "Enter Avatar URL". It just shows some text instead of the image.

I tried it again just then, and its doing the same thing:

I dont think its a problem with my PC or browser. Ive tried clearing the cache and pressing CTRL+F5

Wynode now you avatar has no pic, but it says "wynode's avatar". I can see tRiptaka's though.

Yeah the avatar pic shows up about a day later.

My avatar pic was working fine until at 8pm tonight when I tested another upload. It should be fine tomorrow :p

What's the URL to the image you can't see?

Try copy the URL, open a new window and paste the URL into the address bar and hit enter.

Doest it come up?

Unauthorized: Unable to Retrieve File for this Resource Type.

My Avatar was working ok this morning as expected, but I tried another upload and its gone again.

It seems the servers cache has an issue

Yup.....has to do with the cache.

Hopefully it should all be fine now.
