changing vacuum pressure??

saw this lil contraption for sale that u hook connect to the vacuum line.. altering the pressure and sposedly making a 'performance increase'

what do you guys rekn of this? what would increasing/decreasing pressure do anyways?

It doesn't work
all it does is trick the ECU into reading that there is more air, hence it pumps in more petrol, making your engine run very rich.

It probably does the opposite.

Sometimes they also come in the form of an intake temperature sensor hack to trick the ecu.

It is never a good idea.

Like the other said man, not a very good idea, little tweaks like that usual don't do much, I'd rather save up all the $$$ from buying the little tweaks and get a proper mod done, but that's my opinion though
