i got a del sol with minor mods being a full exhuast, extractors and a air filter.

everytime i fill up a full tank i check how much km i can get out of it.

It has always been between 300km - 350km.

i dont drive like maniac but i do give it a squirt every now and then.

Could there be something wrong with my car or is it just me ?

i get about ~450+ outta a full tank of ultimate

Yeah i get about 500+ on bp ultimate only mods I have is full exhaust and thats it for now

Its running rich most likely... Mine is getting shit kays also. Havnt had time to get it checked, no license anyway...

Maybe check the sparks & fuel filter. You may also have a leaking injector, this happened to me in my old car, was squirting out slight amount on every tick.

Have you tried resetting the ECU? pull out the fuse for 10 mins or so, then put it back, start the car without using accellerator, and let it idle for 10 mins, that should reset the air/fuel ratios etc and you will see better performance/economy

Do a proper full tank fill up and then drive you car. When you refill back to full tank the 2nd time, divide the number of litres used to fill by the distance you drove. That is the only number I trust.

thats about normal for my delsol, 350-400km at most, no mods except a cai and muffler

Some a u guys must drive pretty sparingly.

In my experience, realistically, a b16a will give you bout 100k's to 10 litres, that's not living in the red, but it's also not shiftin b4 3000rpm all the time.

There's also a pretty big dif between open rd and city drivin' in these.

Open rd, ur not going to hit v-tec so often, and of course this sort of driving is good on fuel in any car.

Don't worry though, last rd trip i was on, we filled up twice in my g/f's del sol, we convoyed with a hyundai accident and she pumped through 3 full tanks in the same distance, bout the same size tank too!!
