Help apreciated.

no it wont work. totally different computers from auto to man. U'll have to get a p13 from a prelude vtir or rechipped p28 of some sort.

i thought they are the same b/c auto uses seprate comp for tranny. wrong?
you are right rob3369, the accords and preludes use a seperate ecu for the auto.
As far as i know, to use the auto ECU as a manual one you remove the little capacitor or whatever it is on RP11 on the board. I havent actually done this though, so i'm not 100% sure it'll work.
Otherwise i think it may have some idle issues. Should still work anyway

It wont work, you have to convert your PGMFI ECU from Auto to Manual then have a manual rom in it or your will get codes like
19 Automatic transmission lockup control valve
30 Automatic transmission A signal
31 Automatic transmission B signal
and yes there is a seperate ECU for the Auto tranny
