some of the newer honda headunits have a clock, mine doesn't. hmm i always wear a watch so it's never been an issue for me...there's so many things this car does not have for daily driving...but if you can't live with that then this car may not be for you.

if u whant a clock so much get like a little gauge which has a clock in it (im sure there made by some1) and have it put in a gauge pod thingi and then get more gauges for eng. temp ect ! lol. actually that would be pritty cool :cool:

Thats suprising. Surely the radio shows the time when its at least turned off, but thats no good if u listen to music lol.

The radio is covered up by a radio door that folds up to hide the ugly OEM radio away. Ofcourse you can leave it down.... but that defeats the purpose of a clean flush look doesn't it?

the s2k has a friggen cup holder...and it has 2 interior storage compartments, the 2nd one being quite big and in the 02-03+ models even accodates an 8 CD stacker.

unless u live in a town which fits on an A4 map, i doubt a road directory will fit into the elastic side pocket...

I put my inch thick road map under the passenger floor mat. Where the bumpo in hte floor is, tuck it in, under the floor mat between the seat. Nobody even knows its there, since its thickness is the same as the bar that goes across the floor. :)

the S2000 was a purpose built for the track , hence the lack of creature comforts .

as many owners will know , it is a very simple interior , no real storage compartments or fancy stereo or nick nack gadgets .

The resourses and R&D were spent on the engineering of the car . I am envy of the fact cars such as the RX-8 have such lush interiors , but Honda stuck with their principles and built the car they wanted .

pre 2001's dont have clocked built in the headunit. Only 2001+ has the clock.

I think most cars nowadays don't come with a clock as such and rely on the radio to provide that function. Besides, unless it's an analogue clock, the el-cheapo green digital LEDs included in many cars look cheap and horrible.

there's also an aftermarket coin tray you can put in . It sits behind the cup holder . On 99-01 models , you will need to pull out the headlight washers switch to place the coin holder . You can buy them from Hard top guy.com

the s2k was built as a dedicated sports car therefore its sorta lacking in a few extra luxuries... yeh it sorta sux that they dont hav a seperate clock but if uve got an s2k u really dont hav much else to complain about :) btw, i like my el cheapo green LED clock ;)
