thats a good buy
for the price and the kms on it .
plus the hardtop retail is like $7k !!!!
so it will be good for you in the long run when you decide to sell , you will be able to fetch a few more $$$ with your hardtop .

i was in a friend's car with the hard top, it's quite nice, like it has lining and everything and there's no wind noise what-so-ever...it's just that im not too keen on the design on the read window...that's pretty average.

just make sure it's had its major service done at 80k, look for full service history, usual kinds of things, make sure u have a good test of the car and be wary of other than normal sounds when hitting vtec. clutch buzz, accident history etc etc.

s2k has a strong motor but like rolled said , check the full service history and make sure its in top condition.
the last thing you want to do is spend big bux on a car like that and end up having problems

Thanks for the posts, how would you describe clutch buzz??

i have never heard it, basically its when your driving along in gear and you let go of the gas, some plates in the clutch will rattle against each other and cause a buzzign sound.

the springs in the clucth cause the buzzing, there not set tight enough and its actually sent through the gearbox, making the gear sets to vibrate or buzz. It sounds similar to pile of coins vibrating in a console, due to lound exhaust or stereo. Its really not that bad at all. A few passengers might look at u funny when they hear it, but its quite bearable and really only "comes on" after a decent amount of spirited driving and only in down gearing.
Ive had the buzz for three years now, hasnt bothered me. I'll be changing flywheel and clutch this friday (finally) not b/c of the buzz but it should get rid of it.
