hey guys i need to fix my steering rack on my 94 civic sedan. just a quick question, will an eg6 steering rack fit on mine ? i have been quoted a fair bit 2 fix but i rather replace it. any help would be great, on where to fix or what to do. cheers guyz.

another question guys. will a jdm dc2 steering rack suit my sedan ? someone please help

What ive read, DC2 and EG share the same steering rack.

im pretty sure the dc/eg rack is the same from what i can remember seeing when i did my conversion... only thing different may be the eg has a tad smaller steering knucle... ie my eg knuckle didnt fit over the dc rack tabbed thingy...sorry forgot what its called.

apparently dc steering rack will fit but the hose screw for the line fluid is a different size. im not sure about dc2 but i have tryed the dc2r steering rack it bolts on but the lines doesnt fit

damn aye.. i was gonna use a dc2r steering rack to replace my eg one.

DC2R rack is also slight different ratio...better suited to a DC2R and not a EG. Makes the steering SLOW apparently.

So its better off just using an EG steering rack? hatch and sedan the same yes?

yes , EG sedan + hatch exactly the same.

I have a EG sedan PS rack in my hatch.

wtf does that mean? L2L (lock to lock) of the ITR is better than an EG, ie less turns on the steering wheel to get the same effect. Making it SLOW... WTF

Ok duy i will grab the dc2r off ya and try it out. Just hope the line bolts line up properly and screws in.
