EG aftermarket tail light question

Hey hey,
Have searched the forums for this topic, but can't find a proper answer..
I recently bought these halo tail lights of ebay..
However, the bulbs for the center piece does not seem to fit properly.. I've attached a pic to explain what I mean by this

The stock box housing for the two bulbs definitely can't fit in..
Could this be modified in any way or other? Returning these to the seller is not an option :(

it looks broken to me. it looks like the right side hole should look the same as the left side hole

ye - dun look right 4 sum reason !
bulbs 2 far apart compared to the holes

the tail light looks like your meant to have the small harnes that u twist on to the lights.

oh ye - so it twists inside d tail lights -

yeah.. so the question is, how do I convert the "boxed" housing to the twister types? unless I tear them apart?
