my mum has asked me to help her find a "good" gen 2 crx for her, what problems should i be looking out for to make sure i get her a good one??

Don't bother looking at the problems - Look for what's NOT wrong with it!

Seriously though, they are old pieces of shit, just check out the engine, see if it runs well and check for any rust around the body :)

P.S. Your mums a MILF :p

lol ewwww. seriously tho she found a white 88 that looks really clean with body kit rims and sound notsure about the motor but my dads an ex honda tech so that shouldnt be too much problem

Gen2 CRX's will have heaps of problems hence its age.
I'v been hit with a few problems when I had my Gen2 last year.

Rust is the main issue.
Another issue I had was a problem with the firewall or something, water leaked into the car when it rained.

And the engine, its really hard to find a Gen2 with low k's.
So check it thoroughly.

Hope you find a nice one for your mum.

sounds good, still consider this though
no matter the k's remember the age.
there will be problems with the body and chasis
