Behind the door trim.
Rip off the trim and all the wiring for the lights in the door, power window motor etc is behind it.

The switch, which turns on your inerior light, is between ur two doors, behing the seatbelt. U could try there. That is ur b pillar

Both sides have switches in them. And yes there behing the c pillar too.
BTW, Depending what car, u got 3 pillars. A B C (although hatches have D too)
The pillars are what "joins the roof" to the rest of the car. So a-pillar is at the front. B, between the doors, C behing the read door. And thats it for a sedan, but a hacth has D right at the back.

Not all cars have door buttons on each door. I had to put in some buttons on my gfs car when i was installing her central locking...
You just tap into that wire and extended it to where ever u want it brother. pm for more info if needed
