Hi Guys

Anyone know if you can have the radio on with the door open without having to hear the beeping to remind you to take the key out, this is annoying?

Also the seat belt reminder is annoying? Has anyone a way around this??

Cheers

Moved...

Maybe you can wind the windows down and still be able to listen to music outside the car :)

There has been a discussion on the seat belt warning in this thread..

But why would you want to remove the warning beep? It's a safety feature...

leaving the key in the 'on' position can burn out ur alternator ive been told so thats prob not a great idea... winding down the windows/opening sunroof (if u hav one) its prob ur only option for the radio... hondas been over-using warning chimes for ages so unless u can find a way to disconnect them (i dunno if u even can but its prob not worth it neway) ur jus gonna hav to live with it :)

u could rip the speaker out, where ever it is ;)

As for the seatbelt chime, i'm sure you could simply open the seatbelt buckle and short the two wires inside, to fool the car to think the seatbelt is always fastened.

I HATE the seatbelt chime, every morning I get in my car, start it up, back it out of the garage, all the while... beep...beep...beep...beep

(OK, eventually it stops, but MAN! why not just a light on the dashboard and no chime?)

Then again, I hired a Toyota mini-car the other day, that was worse... the beeps gradually got louder and louder and faster and faster until you sent yourself crazy (or put the seatbelt on)
