Front Brake Rotor Size of EK GLI ?

Hi all,just want to ask 95 EK Civic GLI 4 doors sedan brake front rotor is 262 mm or 240 mm???

They are the same sizes, 262mm. i dont know wat he is on about.
Rotors from my ek1 bolted straight onto my ek4 with no probs.

and eksedan has some dsic as ek4... coz i measure with a stcok EK4

my pads from ek1 fitted 2 my ek4 perfectly

perhaps you got lucky and someone upgraded your gli? or it might just be that only the cxi got jipped? will confirm tonite.

nah had the gli since new.
the only brake difference in the ek lineup is the ek4s & ek1 vti sedans abs and the cxi's rear drums.

I guaranty you that the cxi brakes are smaller than ek4. I've also got a gli at home will check when i get home from work.

i dun have any exact measurement tho...

but i used to think that ek4 has bigger ones then my sedan ... i was gonna buy ek4 disc off a forum member,,, went there raelised that its the same size....

on that same day i compare my disc to a cxi and realsied that cxi has smaller disc then me... then i thought maybe its due to more weoght on sedan they chuck in bigger dissc then the cxi disc..i measure all this with a tape... but i lost the measuremnt alrready now....

but there is an EK1 vtec(?)
but all the civics have the same 262mm front disc

however i always thought that gli and cxi hatches had smaller front discs

my ek1 gli hatch's rear brake definitely looks smaller than the front ones, very easy to tell...

fark might take sometime this weekend to measure mine front disc and my gf's em1's, if the weather is good..

yes the rears are smaller. its 239mm from memory?
if u do measure them you'll find that they are both 262mm fronts.

guys, dont generalise brake size for the Cxi front brakes otherwise someone is going to make an assumption and fk up. Some Cxi's came with 242mm fronts while others had 262mm fronts - newer ones i guess. even soem gli hatches had 242mm fronts. All EK sedans had 262mm.
A lot of hondas imported into oz have brakes taken from other models and often dont have the brakes which they are stated to have in other parts of the world. good example is early releases of EG's. many had brakes from an '89 4WD civic shuttle. the same goes for early DC2's alot of them came with some obscure caliper.
so basically, if you got an EK hatch and its not an EK4 check the rotor size on YOUR car.
