Performance wise, drivability, everything basically.. Obviously its a D series motor so there are available parts, but what do you think about the SOHC?

Any thoughts appreciated.. :D

It's not a quick car, but the d16y8 is good for its fuel economy and reliability. Can't really feel any difference when the SOHC's vtec kicks in, just a barely noticeable engine note.. unless you have a pod which makes a little difference in the noise.

What else would you like to know?

It creaks on hard corners, other than that it is sweet.

Any major problems with drivetrains etc? Anything I should be aware of if I go and get one?

They are really nice looking cars, pity about the SOHC though. It'd be great if they had a motor similar to the ZC/D16A8, like a DOHC non VTEC engine.. That'd be cool

From the time i've owned mine, i haven't had any problems with the drive train, to be exact, i haven't had any problems with the car. Theres not much to complain about. Plus its really roomy at the back, not like most 2 doors.

Just looking at my options Benno.. EG Si's are rare in good condition, and EG6's are even rarer...

I'll see what I wanna do after a few executive decisions are made etc..

I'm still waiting on a reply from a guy with an EG6. Once I get a final answer from him then i'll get serious into looking..

Yeah the H/B is what I wanted, not really after a four door. If I was i'd get an XR6 or somethin. Far more practical for me that way..
