I noticed this about two days ago, but wasn't sure what it was.
I heard this strange clicking noise when ever i turn my steering wheel all the way to the left, counter clock wise. It only happens when the wheels are in motion either going forwards or backwards. If the car is stationary, you wont hear anything

I have no idea what it is, i saw a thread a while back, i think it was about the same issue, but i cant seem to find it any more.

I got a 6spd 05 Euro, stock standard, about 25,000kms..

Usually that indicates bad CV joint(s), do you use power steering alot when the car is stationary? Doing so puts alot of stress on the CV joints.

Also check if the CV joint boots have come loose or have cracks in them. Grease in the inside of the rim is a good indication.

I have exactly the same issue, for months already. Mine clicks either way (turning left or right). I have told the dealer during a routine check and they couldn't 'reproduce' it... but I can still hear it. They checked the drivetrain (supposedly) but didn't see anything wrong. It still drives fine though.

I talked to some people and they think its my CV's - but I would have thought CV joints lasted longer than that. I had them check the CV boots, they seemed fine.

Not sure what to do next...

If you want to hear a wacky possibility, listen to this...

With my old Mazda 626 I heard that same CV click noise when turning. My dad put the car up on a hoist and checked the car out.

It turned out that one of the wheel nuts was only finger tight. I had a tyre repaired due to a flat a few days earlier -the shop didnt tighten the nuts properly... Problem solved.

So perhaps remove the front wheels and retorque the nuts. Might not work but give it a go

cool, thanks guys.. ill have a look into it when i get the time.
I due for my next service soon if i cant figure it out, ill get the guys at the dealership to fix it.

But im pretty sure it may be the CV joint like Eurodude said.
