anyone have weblinks to detailed differences b/w the new 125kW K24A8 Accord engine and the previous 118kW K24A4 one?

I doubt they added VTEC on the exhaust cam, otherwise the output would be closer to 140kw. The power increase is probably due to Drive-By-Wire and a larger intake, I would imagine.

The Accord brochure at honda.com.au/accord may provide some info.

hmm perhaps the intake....I'd love to see the diffs b/w a K24A4 intake and a K24A8 intake....

I didn't think DBW made any sort of power increase all else being equal...
