HEy all.

Just wondering if anyone has had experiences with fuel pressure regulators? Without ecu do they help in acceleration like they claim?

Thanks

Well your car has a fuel pressure regulator as standard so I think it would be pointless to upgrade unless you needed better fuel deliver. ie for a turbo setup.

I might be wrong tho. Maybe wait for one of the big tech people to answer ya question.

All cars do come with one with a preset spring rate so as to work correctly with the whole engine and other vaccuum dependent devices.

I think what your talking about is an AFPR (adjustable FPR)??

It will give throttle response if you lean out your car "safely by accident".

These things are best played with when your around a dyno.

I have one and ran an extra 3psi of fuel pressure to take advantage of a Crane LX91 ignition coil and 1.2mm plug gap.

my arse dyno likes the results.... i have yet to dyno these three mods together.
