feck i love dat Si... lucky USDM kents! I WANT 1's!!! AUS hasnt had a coupe since the EM1.. we also havent had a decent hatchback since the EK4... man AU misses out on all the good shiet! so many cars i'd tap... & if i was ballin.. :(

yeah, i would never have bought a Honda in a million years... but when i saw what the 06 Si looked like, i fell in love! i was considering an Acura TSX (Euro R Accord for you guys), but i couldn't resist the looks of the Si.

hmm... i kinda like the steering wheel. it's got a very nice feel to it (perforated leather)

seats are great too! very thick bolsters so it holds you in place quite nicely. and there's an integrated seat-mounted side airbag too.

i'm surprised you guys don't like the steering wheel!!! some people with sedans are trying desperately to buy a coupe's steering wheel so they can do a retrofit!
as i said before, i loves the steering wheel! that's my story, and i'm sticking to it! lol

i'm going to a Show n Shine this weekend in Vancouver hosted by Honda Canada. there should be around 200 Civics there (Civic-only event). I hope to win the "Best Stock Civic" category, although there's rumor of a 1st-Gen Civic that will attend! i'll post some pics next week.

the show n Shine is organized by Vancouver Civics Club and sponsored by Honda Canada. it will be held at the Honda Canada Warehouse in Richmond, BC on Sunday Aug 20 from 11:30-4pm. you will need to make a donation to get in (we're donating cash or canned goods to the Food Bank, so 1 can/car is good, or $5). all participants are required to donate. there will be food, drinks, and prizes, since some vendors will be there too.

notice how the revs stay up even though i'm shifting? it's a common problem with all 06 Si's here in Canada and US. dealers are re-flashing the ECU's to remove the hesitation and rev-hanging. unfortunately, Canadian dealerships don't have the correct update version yet, so only US Si's are getting fixed.
