hey all,

im just wondering if anyone has any ideas about mounting a larger than stock ecu?

my new ecu is like 3 times the size of my old one and there is no way it is goin to fit unless i drill new holes and **** around a lil. I also dont think the carpet will cover it either.

anyone else had this problem and come up with a cool idea? i dont want to have it living in my passenger foot well like some ghetto swapped crapper. it wont fit behind my dash either.

any ideas?

Serious, it wont fit behind the dash??
Shit Trav, how big is it exactly?
I know some ppl leave the stock one in its usual position, however they re-wire the aftermarket one behind the dash/glove box area.
Pretty good idea too, in case u get pulled into the pits hehe, u can always say that its stock :p

behind my dash my fuse box and a bunch of wires already ;)

i dont feel like drilling MORE holes into my car, its hella long.

oem ecu = lil ciggy pack.

other one = pizza box.

its just a larger OEM one guys.

my glove box hides my drugs so theres no room in there, and it wont fit anyways lol

Just use cable ties and secure it in place.

it must be a pentium 4 CPU... Dell reprogramable ecu..

Please it high up in the foot well.. or in the middle console behind/under Cd player.

but tis pretty ahrd due to the lenght of the wires

Some ideas:

Glovebox
Remove heater core and put it underdash
Rewire the whole thing and put it in the boot?
