Kubica Disqualified. M Schumacher into the points

Robert Kubica has been disqualified after the hungary race for being underweight. BMW said it was due to the intermediate tyres shedding rubber excessively and unexpectedly

Kubica, 7th has been moved to last

Massa moved from 8th to 7th and Micheal Schumacher from 9th to 8th

yeah MS didnt finish. but he was like a lap ahead 10th place tiago monteiro.

so even when JB crossed the line tiago monteiro still hasnt caught up to the number of laps completed by MS. so in effect MS came before monteiro to get 9th

and then kubica gets disqualified and MS moves up to 8th

im quite glad. cause now theres only 10 points between alonso and schumacher. gunna be a good fight to the finish now. 5 races left. so if MS wins every race and FA comes 2nd every race they'll be tied on points

he had to defend positions tho. maybe he would have been better off pitting and getting a set of slicks rather then using up the intermediates till they were bald.

But one things for sure... he's a champion and drove like a champion regardless of the outcome - MS has the moves! hes agressive and sometimes a prik but he knows how to drive strategically when he knows he has to.

I think Kubica impressed too many people to be now forgotten and ignored... i think he'll be back!

I don't care if Schumi or Alonso wins. I just want the best driver on that day to win. Schumi did not finish. If you DNF, no points for you. So how could he get points after a DNF?

if you pass 75% of the race distance you are classfied as finishing even if you crash. schu -3l passed 75% distance so he finished the race. Its like when Hienz Harold Frentzen (jordan) finished a race in 1999 1 lap down in 5th position he failed to finish his last lap but 6th place was 2 laps down and finished hienz still cliamed 5th. PS ALONSO SUCKS

Is that an official rulling? I've never heard of a situation before where a driver who crashed or failed to finish the race still got the points ... because he completed a certain portion of the race. I think thats as unfair as being disqualified for weight!

as much as I like MS to win - i think its BS that Kubica got disqualified for being underweight for something like tyre wear - which the stuards know and MS gets the points even tho he DNF.

well the thing is at the chequered flag schumi did more laps than monteiro

schumi was 2 laps ahead of monteiro when he crashed and monteiro never caught those 2 laps back. so in effect schumi travelled more race distance than monteiro when the final lap was completed by our winner jenson button

cause the race doesnt go on until everyone has finished their 67 laps or whatever

the race finishes when the winner does his 67 laps and then everyone else just finishes the lap that they are on
