Hi Guys,

I was wondering is the front driver seat able to be removed?
I wanted to remove the driver seat to get to my amp, i dont know if the guys at the audio shop actually removed my front driver seat but the way the amp is screwed in i think they did.

Im a bit worried as 1) there is a side air bag and 2) there are electrical plugs underneath which i believe it could be for the heater, i just dont want the air bag to pop out the seat.

Any help or information would be appreciated.

I removed the passenger seat to get my power cables in for my amp.
I'm pretty sure it's the same as the driver's seat.

There's a plug u have to unplug and u may have to cut a zip tie, nothing major really.
No airbags exploded when I took out the passenger seat.
But I'm pretty sure the passenger and driver's are similar.

Good luck!

Just to be safe, disconnect your battery first. And yellow wires are for the airbags.

How about using an "offset screwdriver" (those 90degree ones) to remove the screw? Worth a try if there is enough clearance..
