Hi Guys,

Just another question. does anyone know how many litre of gear box oil i need to get. As I am upgrading my clutch now. I want to put some good gearbox oil in. Thinking of getting the Motul 75W90 SYNTHETIC BLEND GEARBOX OIL.

Need to buy it before going to my mechanic.

My car is:

98 Vti-r Civic Hatch.

Thanks!

if its a stock gearbox just get OEM honda oil - MTF.

REgardless , about 2.5 litres is needed. Grab 3 litres just incase.

i brought 3 litres just incase of spillage, but the mech only took 2 litres.
stock gearbox best to use Honda MTF. only 11bucks a bottle too
cant go wrong. or you can try redline oil, do a search for it in the forum. plenty of threads.

What if I need to go to track next week.

Should I use the Motul Gear 300? in my starndard gear box? As I am doing upgrade on my clutch to Exedy sports organic.

I know they are going to drain out all my MTF oil before change the clutch.
