Ah well.. here it is..

The results of my Dyno Tune..

NOTE: Torque Correction wasn't set, however you can see a substantial increase in torque.. raised a few eyebrows with the car jerking about the dyno heeheeheehee...

Of course, I must give due thanks to the blokes at TT :)

How does one interpret these dyno figures?

Can you say - tuned run at 112kw is almost 10% more than the first untuned run? So - stock Euro engine is 140kw - does this mean Nicks Euro is now equivalent to 155kw at the engine?

Confused.

On the weight question - NIck's euro weighs 1395kgs.

Good stuff nick!

Please list:

1)your mods

2)the difference between the 2 runs

3)where you had it done (TT=??)

4)how much you paid (if you dont mind)

TT = Technik Tuning

Far as I know he has CAI, exhaust and VAFC-II

As mo mentioned, K&N Typhoon CAI, MagnaFlow and VAFCii

As for the price of the dyno tuning and installation, I suggest that u speak to the boys at Technik Tuning ... :)

The Dyno sheet shows 2 runs, before VAFCii tuning and after where the before was dynoed after the tuning when the VAFCii was shut off.

Note to mention, My tuner found that the factory setting of the Euro's VTEC to be very good so little was done there, most of the dyno runs were performed on the basis of tuning the A/F ratio.

I am most satisfied at the torque increase that the car got over OEM more than what I got for the HP...

Nice run, The graph curves are not smooth. I think they should be. My untuned h22a accord ie- still sorting out bugs and havnt touched the engine in the way of a tune up cept for fluids since it came in the front cut) put out 110kw at the wheels. mods are a simota CAI and a 2.5" custom catback exhaust.

i want to give you a race. Where are you located? hehehe

You got lsd? I cant get traction on hard launches with my stock wheels and tyres but if i take off gently its pretty good.

Haha

I can see it now. You two sitting at the start line spinning your wheels, meanwhile the third car in the race - the 1.0L Diahatsu Charade with 41kw (at the crank) takes you both off the line!

Raz  :D

Hey, thanks for posting your results.

I have a 1995 Accord H22A and have some questions about how your dyno's over there are showing torque values as they seem way too high for some reason.

Here's my example.

BTW: here’s a good site to convert KW to HP or back and other conversions if you need it.

http://www.mr2ownersclub.com/converter.htm

It looks like the Euro Accord got 151Wheel HP @ 6969 RPM (112 Kw)
and 306 wheel tq ft lbs@ 4371 RPM (437 Nm)

My results on my H22A where WHP=176 & WTQ=153
http://www.hondapitstop.com/accord/tests/prof_dyno/95accordh22a/95accordh22a.html

Something seems off (as in too high) on the Euro Accord TQ reading or my conversion from Nm to ft lbs calculations are off?

Anyone have any thoughts on the torque results?

Thanks, Bruce

I wrote in the post that TORQUE correction wasn't set... :)

Also our Dynos here don't conform to the SAE as well as using different dynos.. we get different results.

Nice dyno results by the way...

Oops sorry missed that Torque correction wasn't applied. Is that something that is applied on the Dyno computer before the run? Just curious.

Yeah, I was happy with my dyno results. I think that your WHP and Cam's (h22aaccord) is a bit lower than it should be. I'll try to dig up a similar H22A accord here in the US and see what WHP they are producing on a dyno.
