some slotted rotors, and better brake pads? I'm running dba 4000 slotted and ds2500 ferodo brake pads in my car. Pulls up very well.

Theres a lot more cost effective ways to upgrade your brakes than to go and change everything to the type r set.
As Spunky mentioned, try gettin slotted rotors, and better pads.
This will increase the life of your brakes as it helps reduce fade and allow u to jump on the brakes a few more times b4 u need to change them again hehe.

Also, it depends on what you do with the car, if ur serious about tracking or whether its more for the occassional leisurely cruise/hit ;)

k kool, yeh pretty much 4 the special ocassions hehe, so slottoed rotors and sum better pads will do the trick, dba 4000 slotted and ds2500 ferodo brake pads, u happy with them spunky?

You might need to ring race brakes for a quote. I managed to get mine under cost price because of a computer glitch ;)

as for the brake pads...yes I pay a bit for them but they are so good however you can always try a mid range brake pad.....do some searches, some members using EBC's, Lucas, Hawk. My brakes pads on the higher end in cost, but I don't care as they are so good :)

Keep to topic man.
If you have other questions, do a search first and if u cant find the answer, post a new thread.

Try the stickies at the top of the Integra forum.

oh and maybe dot 4 brake fluid would help too

Most people are using dot 4/5 brake fluid as standard, but you can get one that handles higher temperatures...such as the motul one, or the caltex gp600.

Just check out the for sale section of the forums, and do some research on prices. Give you an idea on how much it costs for your upgrade ideas.

Try to change the brake pad at 1st stage. I would recommend Endless brake pad.

Endless are expensive.
You dont wanna be paying for the best pads when all you're gonna be doin is happy laps around town.

well my ferodos are approx 235 for the front set and 180 for the rear. Take into account these can be used for street and track use. Maybe you should look into lower spec lucas/hawk or ebc greens for example.

dont go upgrading to a performance pad if your just everyday driving. upgrade to something like a bendix advance or something. performance pads have a much higher operating temp, so you wont stop very well straight away

and as for your upgrade, i think the LS has a 10" rotor, i may be wrong, but why dont you upgrade to a prelude, 11" rotor and twin pot calipers?? you have the correct knuckles already so it should be a easy fit. you can ask someone like RDA or DBA for a blank prelude rotor, then get it drilled to your 4x100 stud pattern.

much much cheaper option then geting a ITR setup.
