How much vacuum should an engine typically produce at idle?

21 to 23 inch's of vacuum with STD cams or cam is what a Honda engine will produce.

Cam profiles and timing will affect the vacuum an engine makes.

my AFC neo reports vacumm of around - 75 to - 77kpa which is between 22-23 in...

You can tell the state of many engine components using a vacuum gauge. You can increase fuel mileage if you drive to get the max vacuum for your conditions all the time.

any other fuctions?
