Since TODA looks like one of the winners in the Header poll..
What exhaust is the most popular and what sort of results do ppl get.
Just to compare ohow the different sizes affect the power out put with this header.

Also depends on what engine you are running aswell.

I was thinking of keeping my stock exhaust with the TODA header

Stock EG5 exhaust? You should definately upgrade your exhaust to something bigger like 2.5". You will notice a big difference in performance..

umm just a bit scared of paying so much for a exhaust and not getting good gains out of it

1.85 i think. dude you have to change the stock exhaust or theres no point in buying toda header. PPL buy a toda header coz they want to get performance. Not just coz its sexy. You have two options i guess. mandrel bent 2.25 inch with 2.25 high flow cat or 2.5 inch mandrel with 2.5 high flow cat. 2.5 inch will be more for mid to high end torque.

I would like JDM cat-back with JDM header.

When i got my Toda headers i went with a 2.5" magic cat and the vision cat-back system (60mm) Loving it! but definately upgrade your stock cat-back to somthing bigger.

toda headers, jdm Cat, spoon b-pipe, Spoon N1, (only thing with the spoon bpipe is it steps down to about 2" at the rear flange, doesnt seem to hurt power though

if your scared of not making bang for buck... could be best to go for a already made exhaust like a buddy club or something! because they are a 'tuned' exhaust and have been through much trial and error to get maximum gain from them! plus you could install it yourself! i got a buddy club Spec 3 for my lil d16... and it made a huge difference to my car with a high flow cat!

toda headers and BC spec III will be pretty loud not streetable i dont think....but u'll get heaps of power... i was recommended toda headers and fujistubo RM01a if you want power but minimal sound... this is from people in the 'know' ;)

does spoon exhaust make good power, better than buddy clubs?

Im leaning more toward a 2.25, but ill be upgrading intake manifold to skunk2 and skunk2 stage 2 cams with running gear and (hopefully ) motec ECU other wise a microtech..
Id love to just dyno one and then the other to c which one i want lol.
i might do the exhaust last and see what it needs then.

if you're doing headwork go 2.5", especially on a B18C.
but definately dont stick to the stock EG5 system.
you gotta remember these headers were designed for an ITR/CTR which came with 2.25" mandrel bent system STOCK, so thats the bare minimum you want to work with

just got it bak today..
defenetly torqueer motor and once it hits vtec it goes.
but the iol still needs to be replaced and i wanna get the timing checked out just to make sure its spot on.
Im trying to figure out what gearbox is in it as the sticker was ripped of it.
doing 100kph it sits on 3000rpm spot on

Has it got LSD? From my own car below.

CTR 4.4FD box - 100kph - 3500rpm
98 ITR box 4.785FD - 100kph - 3500rpm (5th gear longer, designed to save petrol in the ITR box)
CTR 4.9FD box - 100kph - 4000rpm

Sounds like you got a GSI box.

he got a SiR-G B18C not B18CR so more than likely its got the same box as in our VTiR's. fairly long ratios.

locote - shouldnt the oil have been changed during the swap along with coolant etc? are you sure it needs a change?
