Few questions

OK so ive been searching and im lacking a few things that i cant seem to find.

What size are the injectors? are they top or side feed? what impedence are they?

The tail lights, there are 2 on each side, but in typical ADR fashion, only 1 of them lights up as a brake light, can the inside one be modified to also light up?

Are the factory xenon burners confirmed as being D2R or D2S? and what colour temp are they? im assuming they are something like Phillips ~4300k. And is there a manual height adjustment? i dont mean with a screwdriver on the headlight unit, i mean in the cabin.

When playing, the sunroof did something weird. I can pop the top up, but when i wanted to move it to the closed positon, the glass didnt stop, but it kept opening and sliding back under the roof (yes im aware it has 2 positons :P) but there was no 'halt' in the closed position. is this correct? i hope you can understand that lol

and finally, from what i can gather, only 03-05 factory body kits will bolt up to my 03 unless i change more parts than i probably want to. i think ill be just looking into getting side skirts, front and rear lip and a wing.

Id look for myself but i havent taken posession of my 03 Lux as yet :P hoping for tomorrow!

Pressing the middle button on the sunroof control should close it.

P.S. Petrol... Just tell her work that she thrashes the car!

The 06 skirts will fit since they are a direct replacement, but not the 06 front+rear lips. Dont get a wing lol it ruins the lines :zip:

the factory xenon bulbs are d2s bulbs, rated at about 4300k

I really think the 03-05 oem kit looks better than the 06 oem kits.

ADR, u might wanna try the acura TSX and TSXclub forums as they would have an answer.

Factory HID's D2S....they are 4300K. In cabin im not sure if theres a way to manually adjust the light. to my knowledge, they are auto adjust

in regards to yuor sunroof question, you probably pressed the "open sunroof" button. (there are 3 buttons as u know. top, middle and bottom). when its on tilt, and when u press the OPEN SUNROOF button, it will automatically go back to original position and fully open the sunroof provided u keep ur finger on the open sunroof button. If ur sunroof is on tilt (middle button), and u wanan just close the tilt, press the close sunroof button (its the one with icon of the car is white)

and yes, the OEM bodykit for the 03-05 euro can and will bolt straight on. the OEM bodykit skirt is actually a skirt replacement, not a stickon. so ur gonna have to unscrew the existing "skirt" to remove it and THEN add the OEM bodykit sideskirt. The front lip and rear are just stuck on AFAIK.

yes i remember that middle button on the sunroof control now you mention it lol. why i didnt press it i dont know!! maybe the excitement i guess :P

from looking at other Euros on the road, 4300k was my guess for the xenons, thanks for confirming that!

hers isnt a luxury model :( but im oh so tempted to take the steering wheel controls that light up as i read the 03 models dont illuminate. she might notice though. then again maybe not hehe

Yes, swap the whole stearing wheel not just the controls. it will be alot easier.

Well, wasnt I pleasantly surprised when my stock 03 Euro Lux dynoed 109.1kw at the wheels tonight! (UniGroup DynoDynamics Dyno in Sydney) i estimated 90odd. not bad for a stocker. now i have a starting platform :)

baloney - you can't compare dyno figures like that.

well, if you use the average of 30% drivetrain loss, Euro gearboxes are pretty efficient.

there is a worrying spot on the graph, it flatlines for a second, AFs drop and then it takes off again. my guess is thats where the VTEC 'kicks in'.

the dyno was in shootout mode also. and yes you CANT compare dyno outputs like that. mine is probably spot on for that dyno, they are all slightly different, temps and O2 readings can affect power output also. so whats 5kw??? bugger all IMO

after attacking the engine bay with a spanner, looks like they are top-feed injectors. no idea what the impedence is tho!

now to get myself some factory 17s!
