better off working your b16a for sure.
for $3k you could get a killer setup done internally for the b16a.
You could build it to munch vtir b18c's!

you should talk to toda in syd or a similar company if you are serious :)

what year is your delsol..
depending on what year, i.e. 92-95, you'll need an OBD1 b18c.. and OBD2 for 96-98.. or you'll have to get a harness to change it..

a friend of mine has put in a b18c, and the bonnet has problems closing properly..

you'll also need new wiring i believe, to accommodate the butterflies in the stock intake manifold.

for a b18c2 to fit into a sol

u will need to replace the passenger side mount with an ITR mount.

replace the ugly b18c2 intake manifold with a skunk2 manifold (pm me for one cheap)
so u can retain all wiring, sensors of the b16a engine which makes life 10000x million x 5 times easier

keep the b16a gearbox as the ratios are better.

everythign else will bolt up smoothly. all wiring will plug in to exisit sockets.
b18c2 exhaust manifold will bolt up to the delsol b-pipe

u will need to get a b18c2 upper radiator pipe.

then get your ecu chipped to run a b18c map. (pm me for this)

while engine is out change the timin belth and pumps.

regardin the bonnet not closin properly, just ripp of that carpet thingy on ur bonnet
and it will close and line up properly.

3k should cover this.

1k for labour and the rest for parts. inc. timing belts, hoses and water pump.

IF UR serious about this PM me. if not. dont waste my time askin other questions.
