anyone know the CCA needed for stock eg5 civic?
cca= cold cranking amps.
i have looked in my manual and found nothing, battery specs yes but not CCA. most aftermarket batteries im looking at i find are classified via the cca rating.
please help me out if u can guys.

Anything about 400 to 450 would suffice.

btw, if you buy a honda batterty comes iwth 30 months warranty now
and they are 430 cca.

430 u serious? my civic starts now with a 310 cca battery! :confused:
so an oem battery for eg is 430cca?

i just got one from kmart looked in their catelog for type of car etc...anyway i got exide premium maintenance free and its 360cca and i run b18 and stereo and its runs and turns over perfectaly and had it for about 6-8mths so far. i do believe ur 310 battery is ok cos im pretty sure i went one size bigger in battery cos of my sub and amp so i reckon u should be fine...
