Any one ever heard of this nippon piston kit?

Im trying to find some forged pistons for my d16a8,jus wondering if anyone has heard of this kit.

Also what sort of question should i ask the seller?
And what is the size of the d16a8 pistons so i know what size to get?

You planning on replacing the pistons for running a turbo setup with more than 9 psi boost ?

Nippon (A.k.a. Nippon-Denso) Makes a bunch of the parts for our Honds/Acuras as well as a lot of other imports, if it's the same one you are talking about. Their parts are OEM quality. If you have a price post it. I bet you can get a better piston for the same price. A rebuild kit with new pistons, rings, main/rod bearings, seals and gaskets should run about $600-$750 USD for a good kit.

Just a little factoid:
A 10:1 piston will (99.9% of the time) cost the same as a 12:1 or a 9:1 from the same company in the same model. So if you are going turbo and rebuilding the motor and you find a stock set for a good price, chances are they have the right piston for your application at the same price. The only time it will change is with other options, like coatings, better rings, pin set included, etc.

Nippon actually supply a lot of honda oem brake parts. E.g the standard honda brake pads that come with ek4 are nippon and so are the calipers.

That part number on the box is a Honda part number (13020-P72-000). You should be able to go to the dealer with it and order right from them.
