Hello Guys
Could you give me advice to adjust washer jets for windows. They are spraying very low and one is spraying under the wiper arm. No fluid is getting to the screen.

I had the same problem, and when I asked my dealer to fix it, they say it's already correct. It's meant to be used while in motion. Couldn't be bothered ever since but it seems to be aiming correctly when the car is moving (forward that is)

yeh that's true, it aim lower when car stand still, but when moving it seems to work fine, not sure how though but at least it's not like some car spraying to the car at the back.

you can use a flat head screw driver and gently lift them, thats what i did, but only lift them ever so slightly as the smallest movement makes a massive difference is where it sprays. I adjusted mine 2mm and it sprayed over the roof of the car...... just a word of caution, be very gentle as the plastic used in that area is very soft and damages easily.

I haven't adjusted the ones on my Euro, but I used to use something like a pin or a paperclip inserted in the nozzle to adjust the angle. The zozzle should move within the plastic housing.

Yep thats wat I use too - well on the civic at least.
whats strange is when my euro is stationary, the left spurts at the normal level and the right spurts quite low. But when the car is moving, both spurt normally lol (I havent adjusted them at all)

I adjusted mine by carefully inserting a flat head screwdriver to adjust it through the spray outlet..
But yeah, the wiper jets are designed to be most efficient when the vehicle is in motion...

I have tried to adjust the washer nozzle and a part of it has chipped off. The water now comes out like a jet instead of a spray. Does anyone know where I can get a new one and how much it will cost?

It costs around 20-25 bucks from memory when I got mine.. It's a complete piece and not just the nozzle head.....
Installation takes less than 2 minutes...

just grab a pick or something and move them VERY lightly, cos yer like said above, minimal movement makes massive differnce where it spray, i did a euro or accord or soemthing cant rmember and accidently moved it too high n to the side a lil and got one of ym workmates ahah

For future reference, I would suggest using a Philips Head Screwdriver that is the right size...

My friend had a customer with a Euro in his workshop and had a clog in the windscreen spray, what I did was to remove the hose and blew with my mouth through one end of the hose, it worked and it blew an almost 2 inch long gunk out... I told the customer that he might have use contaminated water to have such build up of gunk...
You can try that if you like :)

Yeah, mine have been mis-spraying for a couple of weeks. The water comes out below the wiper. I might have a tinker tomorrow, otherwise I'll head over to Damelians (closest dealer) and get new nozzles.

Tip cleaners that clean oxy acetylene tips are very good. you can buy them from BOC or anywhere that stock anything to do with welding. they come in a variety of sizes, that will fit into the nozzles. Plus while your cleaning them you can also adjust them, all in the same tool.

someone tell their mates with holden and peugeot's :P
- crossing the street one day, saw one attempting to wash the windscreen, but the water pressure was so powerful - that it ended up on the roof...
- I stopped at the lights few weeks ago, and the water from a Holden landed on drivers side window! i was like wtf! that's dirty...
My one is now doing the opposite, it's shooting way up, spraying the sunroof.
So where do i adjust it?? i cant seem to see it.
