hi all,
I will be getting my 2004 accord euro pretty soon and im thinking abt getting a nice kit for it. I dont want to spend too much and prefer sth that is easy to get around town, without too many hassles. How would the prices compare with the stock sports kit from Honda with other kits? doesnt matter whether replica or not...also thinking abt the mugen grill aswell..!!
just curious, i will be getting a pearl red euro, anyone have any nice pics? :)
cheers

The price for the OEM kit from honda is actually quite expensive over 2-3k fitted, but i have it on my car and think it looks great. On a red euro i'd go for the euroR kit, subtle but sporty and leaves enough clearence at the front of the car for speedbumps etc. Also looks great with the mugen grill!
check out this thread for HEAPS of pics of euros with a variety of kits/kitless:

btw, the euro looks great with just the mugen grill and some nice aftermarket rims if you ahven't considered that instead :p
If you are worried about spending too much on the car- think about whether the kit is really necessary. Euros look very good lowered and with some nice rims. Alternatively you could spend the money making the car drive better.
Is yours the ruby red colour? Not many of those around.

agreed
if you have an 04 euro, an OEM kit is a nice compliment but can be expensive.
BUT, the OEM kit is plastic urethane, so it has more give than fibreglass replica kits.
i would go a euro R bodykit as this is more subtle than the OEM kit, and there are replica's goin around for this as well (i have yet to see a replica made OEM kit)
mugen grille would also be a nice addition but IMO, a grille in itself can really change the front end appearance of the euro, making it seem more beefy and more "angry" dunno if thats the right word but u'll see what i mean when u browse thru the pictures :D

To a certain extent, you get what you pay for. There are often more issues trying to fit replica kits.

Yep for the euro imo its best to get the honda kit rather than the cheaper replicas. The honda kit is actually quite complicated to install with lots of close clearances and bolts/clips all over the place. I cant imagine a replica fitting anywhere near as well.

nb; there are some references to the 06 grill, remember that the 06 grill is not compatible with 03-05 euro's.
