Does any1 know where i can get my disc brake rotor machined and at what prices? it keeps making aweful sqeeeeeks. :evil:

Dunno where you are from although it helps to know...

Machining a disc can be done in most local mechanics and costs about 30-40 per disc...

Grab your yellow pages, look up brake/clutch services and make some telephone calls.

But only if you take the disks off otherwise they do them on the car and it can get ugly as far as costs go. Talking front discs here not rears.

Yes it is an important job and most reputable places are found in the yellow pages.
How else is he going to find a reputable place?
Getting a disk machined is one of the simplest jobs for a Brake/Clutch shop.
Any "reputable" shop will be able to do it.
Just make sure they don't machine past the recomended width for the disk. If they tell you to replace the disk replace it.
