Hey pplz was just wondering if any previous owners of this exhaust, did the exhaust have any "Buddyclub" engraved on it??

Coz my mate brought one and his one dosent have any buddy club engraved on it.
Looks like he might of got a replica one.

Can any1 point me in the right direction..

don't start Simon man, he's in a bad mood... back onto the Spec 2, how good is it? I'm considering all options to replace my fart cannon, I'm after something that is quite down low and racey up high

umm spec 2 is what i call a screamer.
Its good for the track onli but u can use it on the streets with the silencer on all the time.
Its basically a str8 thru pipe all the way to the tip.

:)
hope that helps.

ive had this exhaust.. i got rid of it in a month... it was on my b18c... exhaust shop rated it at 190/200 decibels. at 6000 rpm. (just before VTEC)!

My mate had the spec II on his sportivo before selling it for a Spoon N1. He now has the Spec III.

Spec II in indeed...fecking loud lol. You hit vtec/lift? OMG!!! You'll not only turn heads...but explode them in the process. Everyone's ears will bleed rofl.

He's told me that the Spoon N1 and Spec III are awesome for street applications still, even though they are still I little loud. 2kw extra or something through them as well on their own, but it can vary of course.

OMFG! What was it like *inside* the cabin? A muffled 150 decibels?
Do you have to drive with ear protection?

I'm ordering a set!

Use araldite and cotton wool in your ears. Then you should be able to drive with the spec II hahahah. Spec III I reckon is better for street, period ;)

This is loud specially if mated to a XFORCE headers - sounds like a rexy rumbling :)

just keep an aye out for a white EG around with this combo.

190dbs is a Nuclear bomb explosion

90dbs is a normal cannon
its possible for this exhaust to hit about that mark, its quite loud .. kinda blew my ear drums hearing this exhaust ripping at 180km/h or so

My mate used to get out of his car and have chronic headaches. He used to look really spaced out too rofl! On the track they're awesome, but god...on the street it's just torture. (it's still cool though haha).

When spec 3 is still ok for the street. so if I prefer not too loud but still better performance such as lighter, better flow.. Should I go for Buddy Club spec. IV?
have any one try that?
I have consider Mugen twin loop but it looks very heavy.

They say human ear drums rupture 50% of the time between 190-195 decibels.

150 HUMAN SENSATION OF BEING COMPRESSED AS IF UNDERWATER IS OVERWHELMING -REF.1.1983
150 HUMAN SOUND EXPERIMENTS DOWN TO 1 TO 2 HERTZ - REF.13.
152 HUMAN VIBRATION IS PAINUL AND ALSO FELT IN ALL JOINTS -REF.1.1983
153 HUMAN THROAT IS VIBRATING SO HARD IT IS ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE TO SWALLOW

http://www.makeitlouder.com/Decibel%20Level%20Chart.txt

some pretty interesting info.

yeah double the sound intensity is an increase of only 6db....so to increase 100db u need to increase intensity by 2 ^ 16
lol

btw....that sounds immense!!! love it!

yeah i think the guys at the shop may have been exaggerating lol.
volume increases exponentially with DB rating so rather than 200 dB being twice as loud as 100dB its actually about many many times louder

czy_sol87
11-09-2006, 12:04 AM
apparently it like 7 times the intensity to move up one DB, 190 DB probly blow ur head off:p

my cuz got it on his ek4 and was just in it 2day, its loud, but not 190db loud
