give courtney and patterson in heidleberg a try... very friendly staff there...
and their prices are very competitive as well...
our soon-to-be-sold (hopefully) MDX will be in for 60,000km service.. and its nearly half to what i was quoted at another dealer...

$175 at Scotts Honda Artarmon, but I got quoted ~ $250 but that included a wheel alignment which I didn't need.

However, they did overfill my engine oil by a LOT, so I had to take it back to drain it.

I'm not a big fan of John Blair's... got stung quite a bit with my Civic in the earlier days. Can't believe I was naive enough to go back a second and third time.

But with our Euro-L, just got it serviced for 10,000km @ FT Gully. Fantastic - cost less than $200. Got the CRV serviced at the same time but it was a tad more expensive although Steve the service manager called to confirm if it was okay to go ahead with replacement parts and to let me know the costs.

once again.... what was included for the different prices? someone that people rarely ask

$330 would include an auto trans service, no way in hell $225 includes a trans service. higher service price doesnt always mean a ripoff.
at some dealers (i wont mention names) they omit things like trans services from their quotes over the phone then try to upsell it once you are in the door

I'll be moving to melb and I'm still undecided on where to service. If you can provide a courtesy car for the duration of the service, I'd gladly drive to your place to service.
