hey guys
after searching these and other forums, im yet to find any info to help me in a problem i have with my integra.
PROBLEM:
the passenger side window struggles at first to decline, but once it gets 15cm's down its fine the rest of the way..
when returning to the up position, its as per normal.
now, not only is this effin frustrating, it has also led to my tint being scratched as the window fell off its securing's.
my first thought would be motor, but i heard it could be as simple as the glass falling out of its tracks??
any help/information on this matter would be greatly appreciated.
thanks in advance,
Shane

Sorry mate, wish I could help, but I've not encountered this problem. If you are struggling for answers try the Team Integra website, they have guides for nearly everything you could imagine.

try spraying the window rubbers with a silicon spray, could be something as simple as friction.

I have the EXACT same problem but only with my drivers side window. This ONLY happens to me though when the weather is cold. On a sunny day in winter its fine, but on a winters night it gets stuck.
No ideas as to what it could be though.

ok ok.
the probelm is fixed.
it involved spraying fcukloads of silicone spray down each track while the window is in the down position.
go up and down a few times to spread that shit through.
it was still not 100%.
so i then got some inox and sprayed all the gearing. all though messing the window, this fixed it all.
now i just need to go get new tint put on :(

when it's cold the rubber seizes up and creates more friction for the window to move, creating the glass to jam or fall off the rails in weak spots. as everyone else said use silicon spray.
also might be worth taking out the door panel and checking the rails are aligned correctly and the motor hasn't moved out of it's spot.
happed to me also but the glass actually fell out of the rails and it scrached the hell out of the tint because i was trying to shove it back in by moving the window up and down T_T
when i took it to the window place they just put the glass back in place and a few nights later it happened again, honda said i needed a new motor- my friends ended up mucking around with it and a year later it's still going good. bloody crap businesses!

This is how Honda fixed my window. They left a nice mess in the process. If i knew they were only going to lube it up, i would have done it myself. Can't argue with the results though.

same damn thing happens to mine whenever i put the window down all the way. so i never do it. it such a shit, especially when im in a rush. the window pops out of the track and i cant close the window. so i spend about 30 blardee mins ripping the interior panel off and putting the window back into the track with a scratched up window tint.
i'll try the silicone lube this weekend. thanks ppls!!
