Check your user manual? Sorry it's not a helpful reply - but checking the manual in this case is the best/fastest way to be sure... hehe.

HID's are quite cheap these days though? ever considered them?
lol
and usually.. those bulbs don't last long, and you usually produce poor light?
even the $90 phillip ones that, my mate was suckered into buying em, and they were shit house.
but some bulbs are good, just forgot which ones.
lol

I use BJ-Unions in mines, far better than the Philips bulbs I used to use.

sorry to hijack this thread,

i've just install philips blue vision H1 on my 06' DC5, but it's got a left shifting angled beam pattern, is this normal?

i'll take a photo to show you guys:

the actual output is not as bright as shown on photo, about 50% of it.

^ yes that should be normal on our RHD cars... mine looks similar but whiter =p

i got mine from o/seas but im pretty sure u should be able to find them here as well, might just be more pricey...

first time i installed them it was a biatch, took 1/2 hour? but after a few times it's quite easy, takes 5 mins now :)

^ you can either take the front bumper off and then take off the headlight cluster or if you have small enough hands, you can just take them out from the back.

I really strongly suggest to get HIDs...
perhaps you have had a bad experience with them, so maybe look at getting other kits. Ones with better sealed ballast/relays.

I have had 2 sets of HID (on different cars) and both worked without too much trouble, just the odd water getting into the relays.

I get my kits from www.xenondepot.com
fast international shipping, very good products, very good service.

Kyo, yeah the left angle is normal, i have them as well with my hid on my type s so there's not much you can do about it, i tried to changed the angle and the height but cant get rid of it, infact worst. Yeah for hid, i agree with tofubecause im using xenon depot 6000k and the quality is really good. Its quite expensive though, about $600 and they dont accept paypal or credit cards, for buyers outside usa/canada you have to send them money order. Took mine more than a month to get mine because of the money order thing and at that time there was a waiting period for stock but it was worth the wait and money, got mine more than a year now and since then, there's alot of hid kit on the market and much cheaper and quality properly as good. If you want garanteer quality and sastifaction go xenon depot.
