just wanted to know if i could set my boost lower than my actuator with a boost control eg. actuator set at 7psi and i want to set with control my boost to 5 psi is this possible thanks.

I have only experience with a Bleed Type boost controller.

With this, your minimum boost is what your actuator is set at. By installing a bleed type Boost Controller you can only have boost "minumum" at what your actuator is set at (ie bleed controler fully closed) or higher (ie bleed controller open to various degrees).

I would have thought that principal would be the same for all controller types.

You said it is an Actuator setup, therefore an internal wastgate?

If so you need to adjust the nut arrangement on the arm so the wastgate opens earlier.

i didnt know you could do that so you dont need a new spring you can just loosen the old one up a bit then
