Ratling noise in side doors.

Hi guys,

Ok this is serious question now...

I got a 1998 V6-L Accord... for some reason, I've noticed some squikky kinda ratling noise on the side doors...was wondering what I can do to get rid of this...it's so irretating! I am noob so if someone can show me how to take apart the side door-inserts (where the woodgrain and electric window controls are) that would be excellent!!! I think a few screws are lose or something?

It might be a problem with the steel connecting rods, is the window having any problems moving, or is it harder than normal opening the door?

What does it sound like (the rattling)?

As Twincam16 it might be the rod that locks/unlocks the doors. If that is it the easiest fix is to get some electrical tape and wrap it around the end piece of the hook. Then take some foam and glue it to the door behind the rod.

It might also be that some of the wiring has pulled free from the plugs and just need to be pushed back in or something is loose. Easiest fix is to take the door panel off and see if anything appears to be unsecured and just tape it down.
